Klein and Reyes Become First Gaels Beach Volleyball Pair to WIn Shamrock Office Solution Student-Athletes of the Week in 2026

MORAGA, Calif. — Following a 5-1 week for the Gaels beach volleyball team, Clarissa Klein and Bella Reyes have been named the Shamrock Office Solutions Student-Athletes of the Week. This is the third consecutive year that a beach volleyball pair has won this award, with Allie Cataldo/Hannah Couch winning in 2025 and Paola Peralta/Nya Crump winning in 2024. They are the fifth all-time beach volleyball pair to capture Shamrock Office Solution honors.

Klein and Reyes went 5-1 from the three flight for the Gaels at the Heineken Queen's Cup, taking the clinching point in all five Gael wins. The duo had their high of the week, winning the final points of the Gaels 3-2 upset over 12th ranked Hawaii, their first ranked win since 2023.

The Gaels will return from Hawaii to play four games in San Jose this upcoming weekend against Pacific, San Jose State, College of the Sequoias and Cabrillo College.
