Staci is entering her 17th year with Saint Mary's Athletics, now serving as the Assistant Director of Athletics for Development. In her most recent role, she was the Assistant AD for Student Services, where she provided academic advising and mentoring to baseball, women’s basketball, men’s soccer, softball, women’s tennis, and volleyball/beach, while monitoring their NCAA eligibility. Byrne also oversees the Student-Athlete Advisory Committee (SAAC).

Prior to being named Assistant AD for Student Services in 2010, Staci was the Director of Marketing and Promotions from 2007-2010.

She graduated from Saint Mary’s College in 2005 with a degree in sociology and played four seasons of softball for the Gaels. She stayed on as the softball graduate assistant coach for two years while earning a Master’s degree in Kinesiology in 2007.

Staci and her husband, Bryan (Saint Mary’s College ’06, MA ’11), have two children.
